Are The MOBO Panle Lights Pin Outs White Wires The Ground/Negative?

Sorry but I just cannot take it for granted. The manual shows where to terminate the HDD lights, Power Switch and so on indicating the + and - but not the wire colors. They all have one side with a white wire so I have to ask......... which are the + and - ?

The following information is from the user manual for the Antec Two Hundred case:

3.3 POWER SWITCH / RESET SWITCH / HARD DISK DRIVE LED CONNECTORS

Connected to your front panel are LED and switch leads for power, reset, and HDD LED activity.
Attach these to the corresponding connectors on your motherboard.
Consult your motherboard manual for specific pin header locations.

For LEDs, colored wires are positive ( + ).
White or black wires are negative ( – ).

If the LED does not light up when the system is powered on, try reversing the connection.

For more information on connecting LEDs to your motherboard, see your motherboard user’s manual.
Note: Polarity (positive and negative) does not matter for switches.

it will only work one way anyway,and you cant short anything if you get them wrong,just swap them over

i think it means the LED pin header for heat sink Gigabyte removed the LED but leave the pin header on the board
