Are those idle or load temps?
Is there a difference in northbridge temps between idle and load?
Thanks. I have now this configuration, (sorry for my english), radiator-> pump->CPU->deposit-> north bridge->radiator.
After two hours my temps are:
CPU:31ºC , 1-45, 2-46,- 3-44, 4-40
Motherboard: 45ºc
North bridge: 53 ºC the same with RL that with air. I don´t understand
GPU (Nvidia 9800GT) 68ºC
Ambient: 32ºC and 85% humidity
My Cosmos has coolers of 12cm,2 in front, 2 on the top, 1 down, 1 rear and 1 of 16cm in the side
The temps are with the oc and running FSX
Thanks

The temps are at the moment of finish a flight of 2 hours, the CPU idle. The north bridge´s temp is practically the same.
Now after other flight:
CPU 33
North bridge 52
Motherboard 43
GPU 73
Attachment 4721
I dont know if I upload the image well
Thanks

Try with Prime95.
If you run it for the first time click "just turture" (or something similar).
When you get the turture test selection dialog, click custom, put 1024 in both min and max FFT size fields, and run for 10 minutes, see if there is any change.
It might be that that reading is not very reliable.
Measure temps aftwer 0 minutes while Prime96 is running.
ok I´m trying it.

With Prime the system crash. what must I change?

I up the voltage of memory to 1.65. Ans it´s stable again. The temp are:
CPU: 50ºC
Motherboard: 46ºC
Nort bridge: 55ºC
GPU: 72ºC
I have changed the memory´s timings to 7.7.7.24 as says the memory.
Thanks

So the MCH temp rised a bit with prime. Even if it is accurate 55c are not going to kill the MCH it can probably go much higher.
Prime95 is about the max load you will get with normal use.
You may want to run small FFT and large FFT for an hour or two, and then blend for 8+ hours to ensure stability.
For my system it is the 24k small FFT torture that creates the highest CPU temperature.
Are the CPU temps you quote from GB software or core temps by Core Tem or RealTemp software?
Hi chike, the temps are with Real Temp. And are the same that AIDA talks. I left the past night with the AIDA´s benchmark and the temps were:
CPU:53
Motherboard 47
north bridge 56
I would like obtain an oc as 4.2 but when I raise to 4 the system crash ever.
Then the temp of north bridge is normal to use with oc, no?
Thanks

AIDA has many different temps reading, is it CPU temp or core tempa> CPU temps do not mean much and not accurate please use core temperatures.
Mayb the reading is not accurate, I donpt know what is normal for the X58.
If you want people to help you with your OC pleace post your full BIOS settings using the template from this post.
