    Default Z77X-D3H cant access bios with g15 keyboard

    As the title says i can't access the bios with my Logitech G15 keyboard, in fact i can't use the keyboard until windows loads. i have to use a cheap usb keyboard which isn't practical.
    I have tried every single usb port on the back of the motherboard but none work. I have updated the bios to the latest version F8 and no difference.
    any suggestions?

    I have a G15 keyboard and the only usb ports that work in the back on my Z77x-UD3H are the 2 ports located below the ethernet port will get in into the bios.

    Since the board did not come with any rear usb2.0 ports I ordered a $2.00 usb pci bracket that plugs into a front panel usb connector on the motherboard. That will let my G15 work in bios but wont let it wake the system up from sleep, I have to use the power button.

    i just tried the usb bracket plugged into the motherboard usb2 connection also tried the front usb on my case and still nothing, but mine does wake from sleep fine.

    I would contact gigabyte directly and see if they can look into it. Or maybe PM Stasio he is a member here and ask him about maybe cross flashing your board to a UD3H bios as he has the same board as you and has flashed the UD3h and the UD5h bios to his board I believe.

    Which version of BIOS you using? you can try with latest version F8 BIOS it can be found on Gigabyte website.

    Already stated he tired updating to the latest F8 and made no difference.

    As a side note Gigabyte's website is not always upto date. How ever this thread is always up to date GIGABYTE Latest Beta BIOS. Go here for the latest drivers and utilities Latest Overclocking Programs, System Info, Benchmarking, & Stability Tools. These 2 threads are stickies on this forum and are updated daily by the hour by the min. Stasio is always on top of things keeping it updated.

    Having same problem here. Flashed to F11 official from the Gigabyte site, but no different. Have to keep a 'normal' keyboard around to log in to do anything meaningful. Will keep an eye out for a fix.

    UPDATE: After contacting gigabyte direct they sent me a test bios F10a which got 2 of the ports to work for me so im now happy.

    do you have any other devices plugged into usb ports in back? reason I ask is I am using a G15 keyboard and found if I plug my Logitech Wingman Extreme flightstick into one of the usb pots in back I cannot get my keyboard to work in bios. If I plug the flightstick into a usb port on an expansion card, all is good.
