EX58-DS4 i7 920 Overclock Settings?

Hey Guys. I tried overclocking a while ago and did no good. I now have a new motherboard and ram, And want to try overclocking. If you could help me with full settings for the bios that would be great.

you need a good cooler if you plan to overclock,the stock one is terrible

I'm sure it can be done with stock cooling. Dont need anything to over the top

max i could clock to on stock cooler was 3.2ghz,ill sort some settings out for you later,the price of aftermarket coolers though are cheap considering how well they improve your temps

in the meantime look in the bios and see what qpi/vtt and cpu voltage is being used,or look in easytune/advanced/profile 1,tell me start up/target voltages for those two

ok for 3.2ghz you can try

21x152 bclk
10x memory multiplier
21x uncore freq

set dram voltage according to you ram,it will be either 1.5v or 1.66v
set cpu voltage to normal in the cpu voltage list
set qpi/vtt to 1.3v
manually set ram timings according to your ram set to expert and set timings for each channel a,b,c,d and timings for example 8-8-8-28-command rate 1t

if its freezes or blue scrrens try with 1.35v qpi/vtt,you will need to test as with 12gb you would need more
