I see that F14 for the GA-Z77X-UD5H is posted on the Gigabyte site. I am currently using F9q which seems to work pretty good - fixed the wireless KB and Mouse problem - but it is a Beta. Before I take the plunge is there any good/bad feedback on F14? Looks like F13 got quickly updated to F14?

All I can say is try the bios out. Gigabyte said they were working on some big things but did not mention what they were. Change log only says improves system compatibility. If you dont like you can always flash back.

I got a UD5H (F14 Bios) now and have an interesting problem. I have Corsair Vengence 2x4gb ddr3-1600, but it's only running at 1333MHz. I loaded optimized defaults, enabled the X.M.P. Profile1 and manually set the multiplier and still only 1333. Think I'll try EasyTune and see if I can change it there in software. Any thoughts?

As a side note, running Win8 rtm and Virtu MVP crashes at Windows startup, but that's another issue.

    PS: Ignore the old sig.

Try resetting your CMOS and try again.

That worked. Thanks. Not to look into the Virtu MVP issue, if it's even worth the trouble. At first glance this board seems touchy in combination with Windows 8, but I'm coming from a P45 platform.

The F17 bios for the UD3H seems to have the Samsung DDR3L fix.

Played around with it a bit today, and it seems I can now reach 2133Mhz with 16GB. That bios behaves a little strange though. When changing certain memory timings @2133Mhz and saving, it will often give you a boot failure detected when it reboots, BUT if you save the settings again without changing anything they will stick and you won't see a boot failure detected again. Hitting 2200Mhz+ doesn't seem possible when using 4x4GB of Samsung DDR3L and the new BIOS.

^^ what dram voltage did you use for 2133mhz/16gb? did you have to alter the cpu vtt from stock? looks impressive for 16gb

My current voltage settings are somewhat arbitrary.
I have VTT and IMC voltages above stock, but I've not checked extensively for stability with lower voltages @ 1866Mhz 8-9-9-24 timings which I was using previously.

    VTT @ 1.175v
    PLL @ 1.730v
    IMC @ 1.050v
    DDR @ 1.5v

I still need to check if these same voltages are 100% stable @2133Mhz, but that will have to wait for another day.
