G1 Guerrilla mod bios

This is for anyone who can change the RST rom in the BIOS.


Have G1 Guerrilla with the F4D BIOS

Waiting for gig to add the new intel rst rom alpha rom is probably like waiting for it to rain gold.

To set up RAID, the BIOS has the 10.6 RST OROM

I would like someone to MOD the BIOS F4D to the newest rom 11.5.0.1347( which is here-

I have tried to use Award editor, but no luck.

Please, any help would be greatly appreciated, or how to make it work.


I want to have TRIM in RAID.


I would love to buy the new lga 2011 gigabyte, but they went and used the Garbage marvell 9172, the 9182 is the only sata 3 controller besides the northbridge two sata 3.

Funny how all the 2011 boards have pci-e-3.0 but no 3.0 cpu support, but the 1155 has a cpu with 3.0 support but most boards are 2.0 and don't have a 9182.

The runaround is pretty sad.

Ace, don't suppose you have a seeing eye dog for sale ?

Not sure how, but when I looked I only saw the model, giant list of models only and didn't see any of the updated info under them just models.

It was the first thing I checked, but I can't thank you enough, now I see all the info.


I feel bad, I could use the G1 Assassin, so if you MOD one before you see this, I will use the one you post.


Spent hours surfing, DL every tool, tried every tool.

Marvell Bios Version 1.0.0.1033 / Firmware 2.2.0.1125
After flash is complete, shut down fully and switch off PSU, wait one minute and clear CMOS. Then turn on, boot to BIOS and load optimized and save/apply/reboot back to the BIOS. Once in the BIOS again set AHCI settings and Marvell Firmware mode to "Force", then save/apply/reboot and let it load through to windows, before that happens Marvell Firmware will update and board will reboot.*

Ace, again, can't thank you enough for taking your time to mod this, really appreciate it.

Wasn't joking, if you have a site that takes donations, would be happy to donate to.

I'll check back once in a while to see if you posted any.

P.S. Love that stang, and that's my favorite color, not sure how close it is to dark blue pearl, but looks like a better blue.

If your bored, as I don't want to bother you.

Don't understand Marvell firmware-force, The only option in bios is to set the Marvell ports GSata 1 GSata 2 to enable- ide, ahci, raid. There is nothing in any of the settings for Marvell firmware in BIOS.

You are correct. I used wrong info in patch notes. The bios was modded correctly. Updated patch notes should read as.

Set just set Gsata to ide, achi, or raid.

Your welcome. Can you verify that Trim is now support in raid? I forgot you talked about it. No here that I have seen have said Trim is now support, alot of people have been waiting for it.

Check back after 8pm est, I blew away windows, loaded new drivers ( floppy pre install drivers), then want to check trim, then do bench on RAID, then blow away, then load win 8, and do same.
