Gigabyte P67A-D3-B3 rev. 1.0 won't boot with i5 3570k

Hello,

my specs.:

Mother board : Gigabyte P67A-D3-B3 rev. 1.0
CPU : i5 3570k @ stock 3.4GHz
RAM : Kingston 2 x 4 GB DDR 1600MHz CL9 HyperX Blue edition // also tried only one 4GB doesnt help...
GPU : Msi Twin Frozr III R6950
PSU : Corsair CX 430W or Seasonic 650W

All hdd and cd/dvd disconnected for now.

I have installed the last version of bios for motherboard - F7 and still, it won't boot with i5 3570k. Tried the stock heatsink and also Freezer 13.


Also tried 2 different PSU - Corsair CX 430W and Seasonic SS 650W HT.


I have the old - i3 2120 Sandy bridge here and there is no problem with that processor.


Can you please help me? According to the sites the motherboard should support Ivy bridge architecture.

try pressing and holding alt and f12 at gigabyte splash screen to flash back up bios with f7 bios also,so that back up and main bios's both have f7 on them,this might be causing issues with ivybride chip,i cant think what else you could try,could clearing cmos see if that helps but it should work fine with ib cpu

It goes for me now, but kinda strange - I just put out the RAM memory and gave it to the other pair of slots.

It looks like if you are having memory in the first pair of slots it never boots. I dont really understand.

I can only unlock the K by 38x multiplier max. - thats really bad. Anybody knows anything about new bios for GA-P67A-D3-B3 ?

Thanks... Yeah, I have P67A-D3-B3, rev 1.0.

I tried flashing by @BIOS and I get error BIOS Parnumber(AWARD) is not correct. I expect that's becuase it's not official but beta. I will try flashing from DOS.

wazza post for UD3 and your board is D3.
As you post earlier,you already try F7.

is there a d3 board besides a ud3? if so i wouldnt flash,i did say make sure
