    Default G1.Assassin2 OROM

    I've tried to checked the BIOS file for my X79 motherboard. Then I found something interesting. Why have Gigabyte placed Intel RAID v10.0.0.1032 in the BIOS file? It's the OROM 8086,282a..


    What is this for?

    Yes I believe X79 can switch between Enterpise version and non Enterpise version of the intel raid. How exactly I am not sure, but I did here something abou it is not easy to swich back from one to the other once the change as been made. Example if default is Enterprise raid you can switch it to the no enterpise but switch back to Enterprise is hard.
