X79 UD3 Possible bug....

Most times my pc opens normally....but sometimes it delays at boot screen for random times( 1-2-3 minutes) and then it make the sound that all is ok and opens.
And in very rare times it stuck after the boot screen and before the windows logo (in the underscore flashing screen), and when i open the system again, in windows, it found problem with a usb card reader i have, and then i have to close the system from back panel because it continue find this problem even after restart.

Is it a problem with the motherboard (bios bug or hardware)?
Or problem with the usb card reader?

could be bios issue/bug with it detecting the usb card reader hence it taking a long time at boot ups,its probably trying to figure out what the card reader is ect,you can try emailing gigabyte and tell them the name/model number of the card reader so they can include it into future bios's

IDK a driver issue with the card reader? You don't say what brand model the card reader is...

I don't know the brand of the card reader because it is attached to the computer case, and inside the hardware information it only says "generic". I don't think it's driver issues because most times it work perfectly.

The bios find them as floppy disk(auto), but it let me change the way it sees them from the "peripherals" inside the bios. If i choose something else like hard drive will it make it worse or should i give it a try???

And i forget to say that when the problem with the card-reader happens and i restart the pc, the card-reader disappears from the bios boot option also!!!! That means the bios didn't find it at all , unless i restart the computer from the power supply!

could try updating the inf chipset drivers and or the intel rapid storage drivers if your using them,i still say its a bios incompatibility with that make/model of card reader,whatever unknown brand it is
