Default USB doesn't work after resume from Sleep

    I have an GA-EP45-UD3P with Windows 7 (x64).
When I wake the PC up from sleep the USB ports don't work. Even if I unplug and replug the devices they are not detected. It seems the power to the USB is not been restored when the PC wakes up.

USB Selective Suspend is not enabled.
All USB Hubs in device manager have there Power Management saving option disabled.

I don't reply much hear but I was passing through.

I have found in the past that if you disable the power management, it actually hinders the performace.
Removal of the managment driver make it unable to change the power state for the device from wake.

I would attempt to re-install the driver. Is it a UBS3 port? Sometime they might be a 3rd party driver for the chip.
    Install if needed.

Hmm, though, if its an itel usb, maybe have a closer look at the chipset driver too.
Support for the Intel® Chipset Software Installation Utility

If not successfull, take a closer look at the power options within windows its self. Fucntion to "USB select suspend setting" could be changed and tested.

Another option is to look at the bios verison and compare this with the mobo website. Sometime they release a new bios to hotfix USB,CPU, southbridge etc issue.

I would only recommend doing 1 thing at a time or you create too may variables to isolate to problem.

that is an older board, has this proplem just poped up or have you always had it?

as impact stated I'd also look at the chipset drivers first.
