Typos corrected in thread title.
I couldn't play your file on my system.
With some newer cylindrical speakers, the sound might be distorted if the top is resting against part of the computer case.
found a motherboard speaker, btw my problem is that my system posts once but then not again, until you wait a while. WHen it fails to post i just get somekind of bootloop.
Voice 003.amr is the audio file, weird format because its from my phone recorder, its a faint click noise, that is the noise that the motherboard speaker is making.
Motherboard is gigabyte z77x-d3h , what does this noise mean?
thanks
ohgod typo in the title -.- , *what does this noise MEAN* facepalm lol.

no its definitely a click noise, i get a beep for the post, try vlc media player, that plays it for me, really odd noise tbh, i have consulted the manual and although it clearly says 'go to this section for information about beep codes' there is no said information on the quotes chapter -.-.
I'd be getting an rma

but all I heard was a click then what sounded like your fans spooling up and back down again... then repeat.
If you can post and get in to the BIOS I would try a BIOS update... if you are already at the latest BIOS then I would try down grading the bios level by 1 and see if that fares better.
Also are you overclocking? Did you "Load Optimized Defaults" on first booting up the system? I've seen funny things go away after Loading optimized defaults...
if you still have the same issue there-after these suggestions if you have not already performed them of course, then I'm with NimrodAUS, I'd RMA the board.
