As far as I can see it just allows some optimized settings for Windows 8. If you're on Win 7 I would just leave it all alone, unless you just want to tinker.
GA-Z77X-UD5H - Updated to F15o and got a new OS Type Option.
Just updated to the Beta F15o BIOS and see that there is a couple of new setting options. The one that jumped out is the OS Type under the BIOS Features Tab. The options for OS Type are - "Other OS" (Optimized Default), "Windows 8" and "Windows..." When I change the option from "Other OS" to "Windows..." W7 loads some "new" stuff shown in attachment. Can someone shed some light on what this is doing in W7 and what it will do for W8?
