    Default What is LED Code 04 on UD5H Board

    Guys, Motherboard all of a sudden showing this code on the board LED, any ideas?

    is it booting up? or not booting because of this 04 code? doesnt it list what its for in the motherboard manual code list?

    Are you sure it's 04? No 04 code listed in the manual. My guess is that's it's D4, which is: PCI resource allocation error. Out of resources. There's information regarding this error on Google.

    Yeah the motherboard boots up fine with no problems.
    I suppose the 04 could be a D4 but I assumed they wouldn't have used either a 0 or a D as they are to similar.

    Just had a thought, the board normally sits on A0 which I believe is what is supposed to do. So if this is the case then it must be a zero in the 04 code.

    There are no codes in the manual that have the first character as a 0, only the second character use 0. That said, perhaps it is 04 and they just don't list it. You may want to contact Gigabyte support and ask them what it means.

    some codes are reserved for future use

    on x58 it used to go to ff if everything was fine,i don't know if its changed on z68/77 though
