Z77X UD5H Bios Settings

I'm looking for anyone that has a stable 4.4 O/C on this board that's willing to share their F14 Bios settings.

I'm having issues with initial cold boot starts that are stalling at the MegaTrends Logo.

PSU is a brand new Corsair 650 TX, so I don't think it's a PSU problem as per some of the other threads.

I suspect it's a voltage setting that I need to Tweak.

theres a 4.5ghz guide here,could keep voltages the same for 4.4ghz

the boards are roughly all the same regarding overclocking

EDIT: remember to enter your own rams timings/speed/voltages

cold boots are usually memory related try enabling x.m.p for your memory if it supports it,or set them up manually following the above guide

Memory is 2x4 G.Skill Ripjaws DDR3 1600 PC3 12800 CL9-9-9-24 that I pulled out of my last build.

I was thinking of uopgrading to a 16 gig pair. Would it be worthwhile to pick up some new "XMP" for this board ??

Any recommendation on what someone has working well on these boards would be appreciated

I've used Samsung Green, G Skill with timings like you posted, G Skill Trident 2400, Kingston HyperX 1600 all with no problems on my two boards.

Nope...

Wouldn't boot with Wazza 300's settings. Somethings outa 'whack' ?? (Not used to this new Gig Bios)

Did a Default reset then added 40X mutiplier to get it running at 4.0 without any other Tweaks... and now am going to try to work it back up from 4.0

I'm going to swap out the Ripjaws and put 8gb of some RipjawsX in and see if that makes a difference. 12800 ? 1600? 2000?

try with 1600mhz speed to start with until your stable with your cpu overclock

try dvid +0.020v and high loadline calibration(llc) then if it makes it to windows look in cpu-z and stress the cpu in prime95 or intel burn test and see what the cpu voltage is under load,keep an eye on sore temps aswell,stay below 80c and 1.4v cpu voltage

post back if you need more help,each cpu will be different regarding voltages
