    Default 2x4gb Kingston hyperx blu DDR3 ram problem

    So i bought new RAM for my computer, 2x4gb hyperx blu from Kingston
    when i took of my old ram and put these in my computer my PC gives me 2 choice : 1. repair computer 2.start normally
    when i hit option 1 windows loads files then stops there and freeze
    when i hit option 2 windows stops at the windows opening thingy

    my motherboard : GIGABYTE - Motherboard - Socket 1156 - GA-H55M-S2H (rev. 1.1)

    just tried to run memtest, freezes at 50% cant even do 1 pass..

    Using HyperX profile?

    Sorry, XMP profile better?

    Set the sys bios to read the XMP (ram) profile - I read your board can do it ... save, reboot and see

    Is memtest passing now (XMP on)? maybe boot from cd or stick

    ive set manually xmp on , voltage to 1,65v

    maybe memtest wouldnt run with the 2 4gbs in ? i couldnt access bios with just 1 4gb plugged in , computer would just reboot everytime before bios

    I am not much in intel but XMP on should set ALL ram parameters automatically - no need to do anything manual. IF you have an *auto* setting leave it all on auto - see if that works
