asus z91n notebook problems....

just bought a asus z91n notebook & for some reason the volume keys "fn+f10, fn+f11 fn+f12) keys & also the "sleep mode" key doesn't work....installed all of the drivers from the asus cd & still nothing.....can somebody plz tell me how 2 get them 2 work???.....another thing is that my cd-rom icon in explorer disappeared....tried updating drivers & uninstalling it....tried 2 find new drivers 4 it.....asus website didn't have any.....but I found a site that did but wouldn't do it cuz it couldn't detect the device....the driver file is "asus scb-2424v" & its a cd-rw/dvd-rom combo.....spent so much money on this notebook, I've only had it about a week now & its giving me problems.....can somebody help me plz??......thanks!

If you bought it new, contact the store you got it from. If other F keys work, they all should. If you are lucky, the keyboard is either phsyically installed wrong or it is bad. If you are not lucky, well you know the answer to that.

Either way, contact the person/place you got it from and get it fixed. Good luck.
