Not sure if I understand the situation correctly...

I haven't studied this but I am currently sharing broadband with my nextdoor neighbour (cant get it at our place, dodgey telco). The signal is between 30 - 52% and sometimes it drops out and then reconnects straight away, usually every 15 minutes - sometimes it will stay up longer before dropping out.
We also have another wireless AP that provides Internet for the wireless cilents in our house but tonight I discovered they both used the same channel (6). I unplugged the AP in our house and it has seemed to make a difference - hasn't dropped out for an hour.
Will this like make a difference shutting down one wireless network which shares the same channel or won't it make a difference? Also any other tips for maintaining the wireless connection?
It is annoying having MSN and ICQ always reconnect...

I understand you stopped using it, but I'm asking if that's how you used to have it.
