The Optimal Side Panel Fan

In your experience how effective are side panel fans for cooling your system?

Which is generally better, positive or negative pressure?

I prefer somewhat positive air pressure inside the computer case.
This should help prevent or reduce unwanted dust from being drawn in through unfiltered vents in the case.

I've found that side panel fans can help with video card cooling.
One time I tested with an 80 CFM side panel fan and the video card temperatures were much higher!
My pet peeve is hard drive cages that restrict intake cooling air from the front of the computer case.
Lian Li should develop an adjustable noise canceling device that is tuned to reduce fan noise.
Maybe a white or pink noise generator would help.

Weird, it was difficult to view the page using google chrome... the screen freezes. Anyway, I too use a positive air pressure. I think having a side panel fan optional is important when bottom fan are not available or possible. Most of the time, the bottom part of the case (If psu is mounted at the bottom) would be crawling with cables from the PSU especially if you're using a non-modular one. Putting a fan there would either be inefficient or impossible. I prefer having a fan feeding cool air to my video card, a side panel mounted fan or a bottom mounted would do that job.

i prefer 2x140mm fan, but i was hoping there is an option (Optional) to install 2x120mm fan / 1x200mm fan :)
