    Angry PC-9300 replacement cover

For the last 7 years, I've kept my beautiful PC-9300 in storage in pristine condition. Now that I've finally had a chance to pull it out and just as I'm putting it into place... scraatch! A single careless slip puts a nasty scratch in the back cover. It seems nobody has sold this unit in half a decade, and nobody has replacement parts.

    My question is two-fold:

    A. Can anyone tell me where to get older (but new condition) Lian Li parts?
    B. Can anyone tell me how to recondition the scratched brushed alumnium surface to hide the scratch? Painting is not an option.

    Much thanks for any help.

Truly a classic case. Unfortunately, with it being a classic case we don't make any replacement parts anymore. You might be able to find something on the internet somewhere, but it would be slim pickings.

Getting out scratches out of brushed aluminum is a very difficult and not guaranteed process. A lot of times it is possible to make it look better, but the scratch might still be there. Using steel wool or sandpaper along the grain of the aluminum can help if the scratch is not too bad, but you must be extremely careful as it can cause more damage.
