Hey i have a problem
i bought a dell PC.
AMD phenom X6 1090T
6 gb ram
ATI 5870

then i tried to install a 2tb hdd..
doing so i unplugged my processor and its pins were bent .Then i straightened it and put back in place..
now whenever i start
it says
hard disk boot failure..
and DQS training failed reverted to slow DRAm.

Also i think while reputting processor , the amount of thermal conductor reduced.
what should i do.
HELP me.

just wondering if you have had a chance to view my problem. someone has suggested a dud gigabyte board and would just like an expert opinion

i tried that is shows that 4gb are reserved for hardware what does that mean?? it didnt give me any option to change that....

Hi, I would appreciate your expertise with my build. I can tell you are a person of extensive AMD knowledge. I have to following:

Mobo- GA-M68M-S2P
CPU- AMD PHENOM II 550
PSU- OCZ 400W
OS- Unbuntu v9.10
HDD- WD 40 GB IDE
DVD-Plextor
Memory: Corsair WIN2X2048-6400C5DHX (matched pair, ie. purchased together in package)

Issue:

I cannot use both sticks of memory, only one. When I load both, I get a long beep when I boot up. I have not changed any settings in the bios. I've done searches for this issue but cannot find any solution. Please kindly help.TIA.
