  1. AHCI Problem: I have a custom built Gigabyte GA-MA790FXT-UD5P Mother board. Bios Ver. F8M, AMD Phenom II X4 BE 955 CPU, Win Vista Ult X64, 2ea. Sapphire Radeon HD6950 in Crossfire. 4ea. WD Caviar HD Raid 1 and Raid 1. Crucial DDR3 1333 9-9-9-24, ABS 1000W PSU, Swiftech H20-220XT, HAF 922 , HANNS-G 24" Monitor, I have my Computer System for Two years. After updating the Bios from F7 to F8M. I went into bios as I went into CMOS Setup Utility. I notice that On-Chip IDE Channel wa "Enabled." On-Chip SATA TYPE was Native IDE. I forgot which Option was in this Box. I Choose "AHCI" instead of "Raid" I Re-Booted, it stated AMD AHCI Init... I cut the computer off. Re-Booted, screen came back to the same screen. I tried many time to "Del" to get into the Bios. No Luck. My last message after 45minutes is that AMD AHCI Drive "0" <SMART> OK Cursor keep blinking at end of "OK"
I need to get back into the Bios to update the CMOS to the correct RAID parameters.
