  2. Hi there Matt,

Can you tell me if runcore ssd's will hit stores in the Netherlands any time soon ?

Also, my employer normally only allows me to use original parts. Therefore i might have to pay for this upgrade myself. Therefore i would really want to be sure that this will work on the 2710p. Can you confirm this ? And have you had any problems with that combination (runcore ssd + 2710p and vista)

    regards,

    René
  3. Hi, I bought a 32GB RunCore Pro IV 1.8" PATA SSD. Using this drive in an HP TC4200 results in numerous blue screens as described in this thread: http://forums.tweaktown.com/f78/bran...-screen-35071/

Later posts suggest I'm supposed to return the drive and/or get a replacement. How do I go about returning the drive?

    Thanks.
  4. Hello Matt,

As your setting is on refuse MP... I post here.

I'm ready to try several things but I need a bit more from you.

    What about the warranty?
Can you explain the procedure to remove the R49?
    Any pics appreciated.

  7. I am trying to replace the internal hard drive of the Sony Vaio VGN-TZ150N with the Runcore SSD 64gb PATA ZIF drive. I have tried it internally, and was at one stage able to boot up a working version of windows xp, but then the system blacked out the screen after approx 1 hour of usage. I have since not been able to install windows xp again on the drive, however, if installed into its caddy, and plugged into a USB port, it appears to be running correctly. I cant fault the vaio or its internal cables, as have re-inacted the situation replacing the SSD with the original HDD, and it boots and loads (in fact IS the system im typing this email on to you now) so the rest of the system seems good, except the new SSD.
