ram timming

wat is a good ram timming cuz i see expensive ram with #s like 2.5-3-3-8 and then i see ceaper ram with a higher timming # and lower so wat would be the best the higher it goes or lowrer.

For DDR, 2.5 is okay and 2 is preferably. For DDR2, 4 is about as good as you can expect. Lower is better for CAS latency.
