Please be sure to always press ctrl+F1 on the first page in your bios so you can get all your settings and features. This must be done every time.
Your set memory clock is on auto it should be set to manual
    tRfc should be 127ns if it's 1GB 105ns if it's 512MB
You will need to bump the memory voltage to 2.2 volts for DDR1066.

    Code:
    MB Intelligent Tweaker(M.I.T.)
    HT Link Frequency [Auto]
    VGA Core Clock control [Disabled]
x VGA Core Clock (Mhz) 500
    CPU Clock Ratio [Auto]
Memory Controller Freq. (Note) [Auto] 1800Mhz
    CPU Host Clock Control [Auto]
    x CPU Frequency (MHz) 200
    PCIE Clock (MHz) [Auto]
    Set Memory Clock [[COLOR="DarkRed"]Manual[/COLOR]]
    x Memory Clock [COLOR="DarkRed"]X533 = DDR1066[/COLOR]
    DCTs Mode (Note) [Unganged]
    ******** System Voltage Optimized ********
    System Voltage Control [[COLOR="DarkRed"]Manual[/COLOR]]
    x DDR2 Voltage Control [COLOR="DarkRed"]+.4[/COLOR]
    x NorthBridge Volt Control Normal
    x CPU Voltage Control Normal
After making these changes save and exit. Then reboot back into bios and always ctrl+F1 Enter timing items. Set timing items to manual. make adjustments to them. Save and exit reboot into bios ctrl+F1 check to see if changes were made successfully. If not set to perform DQS training and save and exit reboot into Windows. Give it time for the DQS training to perform the screen may be blank for a few min.

    Code:

    x CAS# latency Auto 5T 5T
    x RAS to CAS R/W Delay Auto 5T 5T

      DDR2 Voltage Control "Normal, +0.1, +0.2, +0.3 but no +0.4

      Same Problem - you write Trfc0 = 127, i have only 127.5ns

You got memory that suggests 2.2volts and a motherboard that only goes to 2.1volts.
Your voltage will have to be 2.1v Kingston memory manufacturer suggest's 2.2v for 1066. Try leaving the timing items on auto which will be a tad looser than 5-5-5-18 but should boot into Windows
        Same Problem - you write Trfc0 = 127, i have only 127.5ns
        That's what I mean 127.5ns

Re: GA-MA785GM-US2H with Kingston HyperX Memory @ 1066mhz

              Hey Art,

Thank you for this information. I have been trying anything everything to get this memory to work on my machine.

              This is what I have:
              GA-MA785GM-US2H Mainboard
              Kingston HyperX 4GB (2 x 2GB) KHX8500D2K2/4G
AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition Deneb 3.4GHz
              XFX HD-577A-ZNFC Radeon HD 5770 1GB

I have adjusted the memory to the specs you gave and still had an issue. But looking over your setup a little closer I noticed you split up the memory. I was have some really bad heat issue on them being so close. I just moved them away from each other and run tests now. This memory is making me mad and wanting to call up Kingston and scream . Cause in order for this to work you have to have some knowledge of computers to a point.

Sounds like an issue with the memory. If you can; try some different modules. I have tried; and had 4 sticks of that same memory and returned it. I had the same problem with it. I replaced it with KHX8500D2K2/2GN 4 sticks and it worked alot better. I still had to raise voltage to 2.1v (+.3v) to get it to perform at an acceptable speed for me.

                  Hey Art,

Thank you for replying to me. I seen you stated you placed the voltage to (+0.3v). I will check that out once I get home from work here in about an hour. I am also having my sons test games on it while I am at work so crossing fingers right now.

                    Hey Art,

I have a feeling it is the memory, it will not stay stable while I am in Windows 7 at all. I can play a game for about a half hour and it locks the machine or the machine locks right up on boot after it loads everything. As stated by Kingston 5-5-5-15 v2.2 in this doc. http://www.valueram.com/datasheets/KHX8500D2K2_4G.pdf

It just will not work at all. Driving me crazy.

So know on to calling Kingston... YA me... LOL

I must agree. If the memory was good it more than likely would not be locking up at boot. Unless it was overclocked. Have you tried the memory at 800DDR at 5-5-5-18. Just to check and see if the memory will work at a lower speed, but not work properly as advertise DDR 1066.
