i7-5775C (Broadwell) + GA-Z97X-Gaming 3

  • i7-5775C (Broadwell) + GA-Z97X-Gaming 3

    I just upgraded to the latest F6 bios on the Z97X-Gaming 3 board and can no overclock the CPU.
    I have the Intel Core i7-5775C CPU (Broadwell).
    CPU Support List: GIGABYTE TECHNOLOGY Socket 1150 - Intel Z97 - GA-Z97X-Gaming 3 (rev. 1.0)
    Any help would be appreciated.

    I update in F6 Broadwell CPU Microcode to latest version....try...

    Also ME firmware in BIOS is 9.1.21.1000...try to update in Windows to 9.1.26.1006:

      Thank YOU very much for help, but unfortunately it did not help.
      After marking the changes (CPU Clock Ratio: Auto to 34) the system Boot failure detected.

        There is obviously an issue with the BIOS because max turbo multiplier for 3 or 4 cores is 26 for the i7-5775C
        Intel® Core™ i7 Desktop Processor — Intel® Turbo Boost Technology Frequency Table
        Does the multiplier ever goes above x33 under load, or at the first minutes after boot?

        You could still change max turbo multiplier and see what happens.
        You may need to change turbo power limits if the CPU exceeds those limits under load.
