  • GV-N760OC-4GD - downgrade to non UEFI BIOS

    Hello,

I'm stuck with this card I just bought as my PC (HP H9-1000CS with Motherboard IPISB-CH2 (Chicago)), which doesn't have an UEFI enabled BIOS. As it is a HP branded mother board, I don't have a way to upgrade it.
Please, is there any way to downgrade BIOS o this card to non UEFI?

    Thanks for your help!
    Petr

Strange. This card has only a legacy (non-uefi) vBIOS AFAIK.
    Check with GPU-Z
If not, back up you vBIOS and go to techpowerup vga bios collection. At your own risk. Don't brick your graphic card.

      Hi Tedybehr,

Thats very surprising, as the internet is full of issues with compatibility due to UEFI.
If indeed you are right, i can only think of that the PSU may be at its stretch, but similair cards have worked in other PCs with same PSU.
I will work trhough your suggestions, may take a while, but fingers crossed.

      Thank you,
      Petr
