If you're talking about the A7N8X motherboard, then yes it will handle the T-Bird 1000 processor.

sup, I have a 1Ghz AMD Thunbderbird processor and I'm wondering if I could put it in the Asus K7N8X that I just ordered. If I put it in I think I could change the multiplier and FSB down to the right speeds, correct? And what about the RAM? I also ordered 1gig of PC3200 Corsair CL2.5, if I put this in please tell me it wouldn't bring it down to the FSB of my CPU??? hehehe
Thanks for the help!

Hmm... I seem to remember you from TOA? That cool server in texas I think. The guy was all into soldier of fortune 1. But I think that we all called you "Dar". We played with the owner of the server sometimes, his name was TheKind. He always had a ping of like 20 which sucked for us.. hehe
I haven't really tried it, but you could probably run it at 200x5 (400x2.5)instead of 133x7.5 (266x3.75) so you can use the fastest FSB and screw the most out of it.
