Have my abit set up with 640 megs of ddr 2100 win xp and sp1. Windows only showing 128 megs of Ram under system. Ram is in all the way, also system appears to be running quick like it has 640 megs working any info advice would be great.

Up and running full 640 now! As many times as I have done this building a system(I should have known enough), darn abit sockets are wycked tight!!! Looked like they were in fully and even made snapping sound but after 4th try success!! Besides that one problem now cured have system running very smoothly with sp1. Now where is that Neverwinternights laying around at! Still waiting patiently for Combat Flight III!

so it isnt just me that the ABit slots are reeeaalll tight :)
hell it makes better contacts on the contacts so iguess its not a problem...and it reduces possible jiggles when you shift the pc around (like takin it to a LAN party or something).
but glad to hear u got it fixed :) Ill be getting my crucial/micron pc2700 module of 1GB ecc registered next yaer when it finally comes out..... (at least ill have the dough by then!)
so in meantime i might as well get pc2700 of 512 module if they have it in ecc+registered (giving my 256mb one to my friend for her new compy im buildin for her).:D

Good to hear from others with similar remarks about the abit, have to agree the tighter the fit the better the contact and less chance to come loose. IF all else fails try again if that fails then:hammer: time................Love this board waiting now thinking of max 2 setup, waiting on amd to get there **** together and put out some of the 333FSB chips into the market like the 2800+. Current game of the week hooked on unreal 2003 give it a 9.9 score on graphics. 8.8 on gameplay. If u are out and about on unreal and see Berkshire County server running hop on in and game up.
