black edition = unlocked multiplier .. so yes, you can OC it very good. However, the degree of OC depends on your mainboards BIOS and ofcourse the cooling of your CPU and system. Also keep in mind, OC'ing greatly increases the power consumed, so your PSU will need to have headroom as well and your power bill will go up.
I'm guessing you have run into trouble running some newer games and would like some more power to those .. a cpu overclock won't do much in that area though as its more a GPU area these days.
