Full load as in Prime95? And those are core temperatures?
54c are very low core temps, why don't you try higher?
Where did the Intel brackes gone?
2500k
Gigabyte Z68a-D3h-B3
CoolerM 212 plus
24-GB 1600mhz
Running @ 4.4ghz 54c under full load.
Ummm.... FX-8150 was better for Render etc.
So I got this extra Corsair H80 with no Intel brackets so can't use on CPU, but thinking of putting it somewhere else.
Maybe on chipset heatsink or even back side of mobo on CPU cooler brackets.
Ideas.

Those are Gigabyte software temps
Full load as in Vue 9.5 for the last 48 hours.
I turfed the Intel brackets because I was a spiteful AMD *****.
Higher eh?
Yeah why not, you may get it to 4.6-4.8GHz.
See what temps you get with Prime95 small FFT 10 minutes.
Of course the FX-8150 is better for rendering becaus ethe 8 cores but in most games I think the 2500K win.
What OC settings?
Just up the x 45,46,47,48, etc
Turbo off?
vcore? + .01-.10
So + .10 would be 1.32?
Maybe you would like to try normal + DVID if you have that option so voltage goes down when not under load, EIST and C1E need to be enabled I think.
Don't trust GB monitoring softwarem use Core Temp or Real temp, that;s what we compare to on this forum.
Stock speed under 100% load for 24hrs is 51c.
VID 1.2810
Ok,
4.5ghz, VID = 1.4061
Core Temp says MAX temp of 81c while using IntelBurn Test.
Cinebench 11.5 = 7.13
4.4ghz seems to be the sweet spot. That's with a .04 vcore bump at max 76c.
Too loud though, need to get that H80 wired onto something.

It is up to you, but IBT is not a must and i doubt anyone above 4.5GHz run it without serious water cooling and low ambiant.
You can settle for Prime95 which put as much load as you will ever get on the PCU with normal use, it may also fail where IBT pass and require more fine tuning.
Is There a Front Side Bus or Equivalent that can be overclocked?
