  • Windows 8 - Bluescreen: BAD_POOL_HEADER

    Dear Community

I installed Windows 8 26th of October and had already a bunch of bluescreens

The Bluescreens are comming with the info: BAD_POOL_HEADER
Everytime it was suddenly when i was watching Youtube Videos on Google Chrome (Desktop-Version)
I had again this bluescreen after 5min computer running and watching a video in 720p

FILES THAT HAVE BEEN SENT TO MICROSOFT (Minidump, Memory.dmp, sysdata.xml): Bluescreen Files.rar

    Here is my actual System:
    Processor: AMD Phenom II X6 1090T @ 3.2 - 3.7 GHz
    Mainboard: Asus M5A99X Evo
    SSD: Corsair Force 3 240GB SATA 3 [C:]
    HDD: WDC WD10EADS-22M2B0 1 TB Sata 2 [D:]
    RAM: Corsair 2 x 4Gb RAM DDR3 1333Mhz
    GFX: AMD Radeon HD 6950
    Power Supply: 850W 80+ Bronce
    Network-Card: D-Link DWA-547 RangeBooster N650 Desktop Adapter (PCI)
    Others:
    XBOX Controller Wireless (onboard drivers)
    WD My Book 1140 2TB USB 3.0
Logitech P9000 (webcam - not in use ; Microphone - in use) --> no Logitech Drivers installed

Ive done some adjustments on it:
    http://thessdreview.com/ssd-guides/optimization-guides/the-ssd-optimization-guide-2/ (i let out 13 & 6 )

All Drivers are actual (beside Mouse and Keyboard [Microsoft Driver])
    Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 / 2008 / 2010 are installed (2008 / 2010 each x86 & x64 Version)
    Dx Version should be installed
All avaible updates (incl. Additional) are installed
I dont have Adobe Flash Player installed cause its in Chrome included...

    Add. Question 1:
Suddenly since Sat/Sun i can use any microphone in the back+front plugin (pink) its not working anymore.... broken?
I actually use the microphone of the webcam

If you need Files or something write it...

I know Google is your best friend but cause window s 8 is out just for a few days there are no threads with it!

    Thx if you help me

Download memtest the file that marked as *NEW!

Attach a USB stick on your PC
and run the file to Install memtest on USB stick.

Start your PC with USB and run the program.
