  • Funny Story. or "NOT" ?

    Some of you may remember my post, and my problems..Well..It took some doing, but I figured it all out... It seems that Vista eighter didn't like my BIOS power settings being set to its "Green State" or it hated CoreTemp loading with Windows.. PageFile BS my butt...Come On Windows..Can you not tell a hard ware problem from a software one ? It sure is GREAT to have the wife off my tail now...

    Sure I remember, but those two causes of the issue(s) are rather different, but glad it is fixed. I always forget to try one thing at a time when trying to fix something, but then you just do something else, and then don't know what really is the culprit.

    BTW, what was that PC's problem, again, sorry.

    Also, are you feeling better about the new PC's UEFI/BIOS? IMO it really is not different than a regular BIOS, although some settings have changed due to the hardware. That is not caused by the UEFI itself.
