I have had a.m. MB for a couple of weeks, VGA installed only temporary and connected to monitor. Setup is as follows:
- g2020
- MSI GTX 460 hawk
- 2 x 8 GB Patriot Viper 2133 MHz CL11
- PSU Thermaltake Toughpower 750
- Samsung SyncMaster 753 DFX
and I have been quite happy with it.
My main and only goal was to have a PC w/o VGA. I have installed all drivers needed and they are updated.
With monitor connected to iGPU and VGA installed, MB works fine. When I take out my VGA and connect monitor to iGPU, MB does not post at all or resets itself after a few clicks in bios. I have tried every bios available 1.00, 1.10 and 1.20, different CPUs g1610, g2010 and 3570k, different RAM and different monitors, problem persists. Once I put VGA back, MB starts working normally as nothing had happened.
Every and any idea to solving my problem is welcome.
