Z77 Extreme4, VMWare ESXi & RAID5 via LSI MegaRAID SAS 9240-8i

First off i am using 4x 3TB Hitachi SATA III drives. A SSD for the ESXi 5.0 installation.

vSphere does not see the drives as a single RAID5 volumne even when using the onboard RAID config. This is due to it actually being a software RAID which is not supported by vSphere.

-Thus the need for a hardware RAID card.

What does everybody think on using this card w/ this MB? Any known issues?
