990FX Extreme 9 USB 2 Problems

New build on 990FX Extreme 9 and having poor and erratic performance on USB mouse. Have tried both back USB 2 and have two on front panel same results. Also tried two different Logitech mouse with same results. Also can not get into the BIOS at start up with USB 2 Keyboard. Keyboard does not power up till Windows 7 starts to load. Suggestions?

Updated BIOS from 1.0 to 1.5 and USB seems to be working better. Also figured out keyboard and getting into the BIOS. Keyboard is a Storm QuickFire TK gaming board and must turn off Windows lock out key and FN lock key. Press FN and F2 at boot and then can get into BIOS, DEL key will not work on this keyboard.
