RMAing a ZIF PATA 64GB drive - what to do?

Hi all,

What is the best way to RMA a drive? I have a 64GB PATA ZIF drive running the 1916 firmware on a Sony TZ. As of about a week ago, every once in a while, my Windows 7 throws a blue screen with an error in Ntfs.sys, and when rebooting, the PC says "Operating System Not Found". Turning off and on seems to fix it.

I tried reinstalling Windows, reformatting the drive, but it still happens. Seems to happen under heavier loads, like installing Windows updates or something.

Any help appreciated. Can't really live without the laptop, does anyone know if Runcore offers a cross-shipment secured by a credit card?

Hello jB,

Do you have tried any other os? Windows XP would appear blue screen or not ?
Also you can try disable the trim function in Windows 7 to try.

If you want to RMA it, you can contact with the reseller from whom you purchased.
He will deal with you RMA requirement.

Try to disable the trim function before you send it back.

Run as administrator and input in command prompt:
fsutil behavior set DisableDeleteNotify 1
The trim function will then be disabled.
