any one help with how much voltage one can push through the NB to get 4 stick of memory stable, i have 2 sticks 8GB of g-skill trident f3-2400c10q running on my fm2+a88x extreme 6 board at 10 12 12 31 1.65v, i don't think this memory is listed on asrocks list for this M/B but i have 8GB running nice and stable (test with Prime). i would like to run 16GB as thats how it came (4 sticks) but i believe i need to up the CPU N/B voltage. at present this is at 1.27500v and the CPU N/B frequency is at x10.0 2000mhz, i have the CPU at 4100 mhz at 1.45000v. !

So long as you have not set CPU NB/GFX Voltage Offset and or NB Load-Line Calibration, which I believe CPU NB is stock 1.2750 for Kaveri's, push +0.05 to +0.10 extra into CPU NB and test. Remember to watch your temps!#1 - Please, when seeking help, enter the make and model of ALL parts that your system is comprised of in your Signature, or at least the model #'s in your System Specs, then "Save' it.

Re: installing more memory fm2+a88x extreme 6
Well having found some time, i had a go at installing the extra ram i have, i tried upping the NB voltage to 1.38750 in the end, but still not booting. I did swap the memory over to check it and all 4 (2 at a time) stick work fine at 2400, 10 12 12 31. i did note that the southbridge gets hotter but not much, according to a digital thermometer 37 deg, i have a fan blowing on it and the memory, as for the APU and VregMosfet these are both water cooled and test don't go above 36 deg. i have a Koolance TMS-205 and expansion board, two pumps, two INS-FM17 flow meters and three inline temp sensors where the sensor is in the water. i am also using the latest beta software. at the moment i have 4300 mhz cpu and 1028 mhz overclock to the gpu side, thats all at the moment, really want to make use of the extra memory if i can, would you have a plan of adjustments, do i need to push the NB voltage further or are there other routes to take.

What specific 16gb(4x4gb) G.Skill kit do you have there you're working with?#1 - Please, when seeking help, enter the make and model of ALL parts that your system is comprised of in your Signature, or at least the model #'s in your System Specs, then "Save' it.

Too, realize your OC with 4 sticks will more than likely not equal your current OC using 2 sticks. I can almost guarantee it, even with the cooling you have there.
Does it boot using 4 sticks at BIOS default/stock settings? If it does, I would start/begin OC'ing using the 4 sticks from there. Trying to add 2 more sticks to an already OC'd system and you'll run out of tweaks before gaining much in the way of results.#1 - Please, when seeking help, enter the make and model of ALL parts that your system is comprised of in your Signature, or at least the model #'s in your System Specs, then "Save' it.
