  • Gigabyte ep45-ud3l with e5200 help

Hi I have the e5200 and ud3l board and recently lost my stability ,don't know why.

I have right now 1.36 for cpu vcore , running at 279 which makes it 3.49ghz
I have all other stuff at default under voltages ram is 5 5 5 15 .
How can I put the bios info on paper?
Anyways I think i need more voltage under cpu termination and pll also mch.
Thks I know this is vague info, it just gives an idea.

Re: Gigabyte ep45-ud3l with e5200 help

You can copy and paste the generic bios template below into Notepad or any plain text editor.
You can then fill in your current bios settings into the template and copy the completed template into a post.
For any bios settings that aren't available with your motherboard, fill in the bios setting with N/A.

An Advanced Forum Search using e5200 and the Search Titles Only option will return 47 threads that deal with your cpu and several different LGA775 motherboards. Look at the EP45/e5200 threads and you'll find some useful information.

You will need to use Prime95 or a similar program for stress testing your system to ensure that your overclock is stable.

We need detailed information about ALL OF THE HARDWARE in your system.

We can best help you after you create a detailed hardware list in the System Specs
portion of your forum profile at the bottom of the profile page or in your forum signature.
Be sure to include brand names and model numbers.
When you are done editing or creating your hardware list, save the settings.

Re: Gigabyte ep45-ud3l with e5200 help

MCH Core = 1.10 might be the problem, try 1.20 - 1.24 and see if it helps.

It looks like you have 2 different memory kits and even if their specifications are identical, this might be part of the problem.
Try booting with only one memory kit installed in slots #1 and #3 and see if your system is stable.

What stress testing programs have your run?

What is the brand name and model number of your cpu cooler?

If ET6 (EasyTune6) runs on your system, post a cropped screen-shot after you press the Tuner --> Advance --> Voltage tabs:

Thks for reply.I got intel stock cooler , also tests done with OCCT.I have it running at now just changing to 3,33 c giving 937. The rest is the same. I can't get above 3.51 stable.
Easytune in win 8.1 that I have does not work.

I also had 11.5 running at 306 2.00d 612 for ram and that was stable. What changes do i need to make.Thks
