  • GA-X99-Gaming G1 WIFI & Noctua NH-D15

    Evening all,

    I bought the G1 WIFI and Noctua NH-D15, after I ordered I checked Noctua's site (should have done this previously!) and it says it goes over the top PCI-E Slot (via Noctua.at - sound-optimised premium components "Designed in Austria"! ).

    Is it OK to put the Nvidia GTX780 in another PCI-e slot? If so which one should I use?

    you can use the next available slot down

    also try totating the cpu cooler you might get the gpu to fit in the top slot

      I ended up rotating the cpu cooler so it is blowing out the top of the air 540 case.

      It has maybe 1/2 an inch of clearance which is fine for me.
