  • GA-Z87X-OC randomly reboots

My machine randomly reboots. It does not appear to be OS-related (I can dual boot, and this happens on Win7 Home Premium, and Mac OSX 10.9.1)

Days or weeks can go by where all seems stable, and then it will randomly reboot many times in a day. I do not believe it to be related to power conditions or heat.

There is no BSOD. Just a sudden reboot.

I have only tried 2 things: reduced memory from 32gb to 16gb, and I updated the BIOS to F8. No joy. I have checked the remaining 16gb of ram with windows memory diagnostic (2 pass / standard). It seems fine.

I am attaching the output of OpenHardwareMonitor.

Power comes from a decent UPS:
CyberPower CP1350AVRLCD Intelligent LCD Series UPS 1350VA 810W AVR Mini-Tower

I am not trying to overclock this machine. I just want something super stable. I did get the OC board for flexibility later. I am using the optimized bios defaults.

From what I have read, I wonder if the memory is getting enough voltage(?)

What to check for, and to adjust? thanks.
