  • X58A-UD7 Bios question

    Hey there,

I have own an X58A-UD7 rev 1.0 motherboard and I was wondering why it hasn't recieved many updates like the rev 2.0 version of the board, I was also wondering if it's possible to flash the rev 2.0 bios onto the 1.0 board as I want to use a Xeon Chip?

    Re: X58A-UD7 Bios question

    Welcome to the forum.

Post your question in the http://forums.tweaktown.com/gigabyte...fied-bios.html thread.

If needed, it might be possible for one of the modders to create a mod bios for your motherboard that contains Xeon microcode.

Another option is to contact Gigabyte tech support directly to see if they can send you a modded bios.

I use F9D and am quite happy. Ask LSDMEASAP for the very latest update of the F9D BIOS!

Unfortunately Lsdme hasn't been in the forums for almost three years and no-one has been able to contact him.
