  • IOMMU support on AMD Motherboards

The board claims it has IOMMU support and I have enabled it, but continue to get this error The I/O remapping table does not report an IOAPIC reported by the MADT. Without acpi ivrs tables there isn't IOMMU support. Anyone know of a possible workaround outside of Gigabyte fixing the BIOS? Any experienced input would be nice, in any virtualization program. I am specifically talking about the GA-F2A88XM-D3H, with the rev 7 BIOS.

According to all the stickied posts this is where official Gigabyte reps help with technical support and my issue is with no acpi ivrs tables in my BIOS, making the option of IOMMU in my BIOS superficial. So unless you have a modded BIOS that has ACPI IVRS tables or a workaround in HyperV/Xen/vmware?
