Thread: Defrag of WD Raptor SATA

    I read somewhere that these drives can't or shouldn't be defragged. I've done it 3 times with WinXP utility. It always shows 25% data Fragmentation so I guess it doesn't help. Anyone have any info on this? Thanks.

    Use Diskeeper, its sooooooooooooo much better.

    It will defrag your entire drive completely (much better than XP) and will do it in minutes.

    Best defrag there is. :thumb:
