Well then can ya put a startup disk in and format the C:/ partition? :?:
<center></center>
it spins up, but when xp tries to detect the drive at boot, the drive goes into an endless spin....bzzzzbbzzzz....repetitive until xp gives up and quits trying to find it and loads the rest of the way, this process takes over 5 minutes though, but at the end, the drive letters still do not show in my computer but in device manager, it says drives are perfectly fine =\

nope winxp says unknown disk for the 30 gig on setup and i dont want to risk losing everything thats on it incase of a bad format or it formats the entire drive
it will be clear whether or not you are about to format the whole drive or just the first partition.
darn tried formatting but it wont even let me highlight that drive =\
