No it's only that you can have up to 4 Primary partitions on one HDD. You can have up to 24 logical drives in an extended partition though I certainly wouldn't put that many in. :smokin:

okay.. so what is the difference... are primary drives then the ones that have an os on it... and logical all the other ones
Yes basically that's it though other os's like in a dual boot Win9x/XP or similar can have the 9x os on a primary and XP on a logical so long as the boot partition is the primary one. :smokin:
