Must be an awesome PC that utilizes 237GB of memory.
I have had good luck with LiteOn drives. They aren't very expensive, work well and tend to last.
I have a HP Pavilion a350n desktop running XP Pro 237gb ram and I want to get a new DVD Burner?
IDE or sata, and which one would you recommend.

I haven't had the chance to play with SATA optical drives yet but that will be on the list when i build another system. From those I know who HAVE tried them, they love them. If for no other reason, you no longer have to worry about where in the chain to set the burner versus a non-burning drive since there is no longer a slave or master setup necessary.
