Just got a Sapphire ATI Radeon 9600 Pro and i have a score of 10308 on 3DMark2001 and a score of about 3100 on 3DMark2003. Fresh install of WINXP.

It seems that ATI was conservative with a 400MHz core rating. Alot of people are getting 450-500. Couple of hardware sites have even taken it close to 600.
Rage3D is a good program to use to adjust the core and mem. speeds. I've been running mine at 480/320 stock cooling. It ran 3Dmark2k3 at 500/330 score was 4020. At those speeds it freezes in UT2k3. Thats why the current speeds. Any artifacts and you've gone to far. Enjoy your new card.
