If you are a gamer, then you need atleast a X1950PRO. They make them for AGP. The 7300GT and the X1650 are crap and will not perform unless you run 800X600 resolution or less.
This is my 1st post in this forum,I need advice from u all.I'm planning to buying VGA which is 've a good perform for heavy gaming. And i consider about 7300GT or X1650Pro.So i need your advice which one is better for heavy gaming like assasins creed, crysis, etc. For information, i still use mobo with slot AGP 8X.Regardless, thx to replier.

The X1650Pro is the better choice.
An AGP HD3850 would slaughter either of those cards.
thx for d advice.I've looking 4 x1950 and HD3850 for AGP.None of the store provide it.So i try X1650 PRO,well its quite good for an AGP VGA gaming series i think.Did u guys have xperience with this X1650PRO,can u share, maybe the problems with this vga???I've problem with the driver, the driver only could install from window xp add hardwre from contrl panel menu .It cant installed from autorun coz when i click easy install menu from the cd,suddenly appears a msg box,"data.size!=3", then automatically it get back to the desktop menu.Could u give some advice(again) or solution for this problem.I've uninstalled the previous display driver. But the problem still the same.THX again.
Well at least try for 2600Pro but all except for the 1950Pro are available here.
2600PRO is hardly any better than the X1650 PRO. Get the XT model, atleast they will have DDR3. Any way you look at it, those cards will not be good for heavy gaming.

I chose that model not so much for better game play but it sure does handle video a lot better taking a big load off the CPU and lets face it this has to be an old setup so it can definately use a hand whenever it can get it.
I still think that if the system can take it a 3850 would be the best option.
