I didn’t know about that, where are the settings for AGP?

Is there a way to verify you have it at 4x?

I found one in the windows settings where you right click and go to settings and there’s one in the bios.

The one in windows does not let me tick it, its just for information.
(MSI Information Tab) and it does not have the AGP 4x ticked!!!!
or the AGP Traffic Enable box but in the manual both of them are ticked!

When you run the Mad Onion benchmark (3D Mark 2000SE) it will be listed in the results.

On the madOnion site when I uploaded my results is says

AGP Rates
(Current/Available) N/A / 1x 2x 4x

N/A What does this mean?

Where are the settings for 4x AGP?

Problem solved!!!!!

I finally solved my AGP problem and low marks.

It was the Via Chipset drivers. I updated them with the 4in1442 drivers and got 3000 more 3Dmarks!!!!

At 9862 now!

hmm 10,000+ :(:(:(

For the life of me i can get my system to go over 10,000 :(

GF 4 Ti4200 275/500

What am i doing wrong ?

I will try it again tonght with nothing else running except 3dmark and windows of course :)

The first "problem" is that 275/500 isn't going to produce the best results. Using cool bits (registry addition) or one of the tweaking programs (see www.3dguru.comm or www.majorgeeks.com) push that puppy up gradually. Mine (and all are different) runs well at 290/630 and can go higher.

I am using an overclocking prog and have had it lock up on me... might have to get some fans for the vid card drpeterbright do you have fans on your card to get it that high ?
