From the artical i saw how to do it i didn't think that the benifits way up againts the cost if something goes wrong
Guys,
I dled Rivatuner 2.0 and ran it. I have gone to a ton of forums that try to explain how to force a 9700 Pro into a 9800, but to no avail. How would I know if it worked? I noticed on some peoples posts that there sys specs had changed to show a 9800 under chip type and/or adapter? Mine is still showing 9700 Pro? I also tried to go through the poweruser tab then I clicked on the open patch scipt buttom. From there I went to ATI then I tried to tried to open both of the patch scripts in that folder. When I pushed the continue button it brought me to an new open file box? There isn't any files to open. So when I pushed cancel it gives me a reply that the scripts weren't forced successfully?
Any Help Here?
